Mountain Lakes
Starting out as a hobby, the Mountain Lakes Organic Coop was under Marnie's direction since 2001. It grew many fold and became a stronger interest and part of the direction for her future. Marnie spent over twenty-five years working her way up in the graphic design world, then running a design business and currently teaching. Through the years, she has had an environmentally oriented activity or two going at any moment. On January 2012, Marnie completed her Masters in Environmental Management at Montclair State University. Through her studies, Marnie discovered that local, environmentally friendly businesses like the Co-op are a big part of the multifaceted solution to the environmental problems we face today. |

In her free time, Marnie managed CommunityGreen, is on The Mountain Lakes Environmental Commission and The Mountain Lakes Shade Tree Commission, and runs the town's Sustainable Jersey Green Team.The town of Mountain Lakes awarded Marnie Citizen of the Year in 2015 for managing the town's 2014 Sustainable Jersey Silver Certification. With a strong desire to make a difference, she has also headed environmental movie events to promote awareness in New Jersey and assisted neighboring communities with their own environmental events.

Denville
The Denville site is at 46 Parks Road, off Route 53 across from Mount Tabor, and can also be reached from Route 10 West. For assistance, please call Kathy at 973-627-6425 or 973-879-1439 or Maria at 201-838-5653. Kathy has been the Denville site-host since Spring 2012. Kathy grew up in Whippany and has lived in Denville for 45 years. She was a legal secretary/real estate paralegal in Denville prior to retiring in 2013. Kathy enjoys organic gardening at home and at the Denville Community Garden. She is active in the music ministry at The Presbyterian Church of Morris Plains where she rings in a handbell choir and directs a handbell quartet. She also enjoys cooking and baking. |

Rockaway
The Rockaway site operates on Big Weeks, so all types of baskets are available there every other week. The produce is usually sorted and ready for pick-up between 3:00 and 8:00 pm, Thursdays. The Rockaway site is at 129 Lakeshore Drive, in the proximity of Rockaway Mall and White Meadow Lake. For assistance please call Kate at 973-452-7649 or Maria at the number at the bottom of the page.. Kate Gray is Rockaway's host. Kate is a Certified Health Counselor and Animal Rights Advocate. She decided to become a health counselor to fulfill her passion of raising awareness of nutrition and the powerful mind body connection. |

Kate received her training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. She is certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, leads workshops on nutrition, and offers health and nutrition coaching to Individuals and Groups. Madison

Daria has enjoyed being a site-host since April 2010. Currently, she is a stay at home mom to two daughters, Gabriella who is five and Sophia who is two. Prior to having children, she worked as an Insurance Specialist at her family- run Financial Advising Firm in Florham Park, NJ. She has been a member of the Holistic Moms Network since 2005. Through them she has learned so much about holistic living and is thinking about going back to school to start a career in the Holistic health care field.
Daria enjoys ballroom dancing, doing Zumba, spending time with family, cooking and reading (especially on health, alternative medicine, natural birth - all things holistic!). She gave up using conventional medicine on her family four years ago and has never turned back. She has incorporated Young Living Essential Oils as a replacement for medicine, cleaning products and even perfume!
She has just joined her daughters preschool board of directors where she hopes to change the snack policy to incorporate healthier choices.
Hosting a Site
If you are interested in hosting a site, there are a few main points that are important.
- You can come to Mountain Lakes to pick up your member's produce between 1 and 3 pm on Thursdays.
- You have a garage – that isn't completely filled with stuff;
- Your garage is easily accessible and not too far off the main roads;
- You are available to assist members on Thursdays between 3 and 8 pm on a weekly or biweekly basis.
